A typical summer day for Florida, we woke up the morning of Katie’s session and immediately had a weather scare. 100% chance of rain… okay, thanks, Florida! As usual, I tried to calm Katie’s nerves and wait out the weather for as long as we could. A few hours before her hair and makeup appointment I decided that the weather would hold off long enough for us to photograph her senior year. Lucky for us there was no rain until directly after we finished, just sweat (the usual!).

Katie is such a sweetheart, she is as polite and pretty as they come. I mean, have you seen her hair? All of the heart eyes! Katie decided to have her session at the Suwannee River State Park to get the best of every world–greenery, river, woods, bridge, basically all of Florida piled into one location within walking distance of each other. She rocked her senior session! From the romper, to the formal gown, to the sassy jean skirt, she was killing it for every photo! I love when seniors pull out an old dress and give me permission to “ruin” it. I think her old homecoming dress paired perfectly with the Suwannee River.
