I’ve known this girl for as long as I can remember, except I remember her being about 7 years old. I was pretty sure that I was at least 10 years older than her, but now that she is a senior I guess that isn’t true! It’s funny how people stay a certain age in your head, then suddenly they’re all grown up. Mine and Ashlyn’s fathers are best friends, so it was an honor to get to take her senior portraits.

I totally loved the vintage, relaxed look that Ashlyn had for her senior photos. Her skirts paired with downtown White Springs matched perfectly. Ashlyn was up for everything I threw at her and rocked every pose–even when my requests seemed a bit odd. Our day together was a typical Florida day: sunny until hair and makeup and then rain for the next hour. Though we had overcast weather, I actually think that it worked well for her session. I could have photographed Ashlyn all day long with her long legs! (I might be a little bit jealous).
