Senior Photographer in North Florida
White Spring, Florida
Mallory Fernald
One of the things I love most about being a senior photographer is getting to know my girls. Each girl has such a different personality, different likes and dislikes. Some girls are outgoing, others are more reserved. Whatever the case, my job as a senior photographer is to showcase their personality. I need their portraits to radiate who they are at this point in their life. Senior year is important, this is a big year for most kids. They’re deciding what colleges they want to apply to, have to start thinking about what they want to be when they grow up, all of the things that no one really wants to think about. I take the few hours I get to spend with my seniors as a chance to let them be them. Let them be youthful, let them be happy and cheery. Mallory is no exception.
I have been photographing Mallory for several years now, so it was kind of a given that I would be her senior photographer. I was actually the photographer for all three proms that she has been to and hoping to finish off her last year photographing too. We have learned a lot about each other over the years. Mallory is full of life. It’s strange to see her without a smile on her face, but don’t let that fool you. She can rock a serious look too!
Mallory is one of my senior representatives for the class of 2019 so I’ve gotten to photograph her even more this year. My senior girls meet up about every month and a half and they’re all a joy to be around. It’s girls like Mallory that make being a senior photographer worth it. I spend countless hours in the sun and horrible weather, but my girls always look stunning and we always have a ton of fun.
I can’t wait to see where life takes Mallory, I know she’s going to do great things!
