Tallahassee March Wedding
Tallahassee Wedding Photographer
Austin & Morgan Malloy
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Malloy!
This Tallahassee March wedding is what dreams are made of! Morgan was absolutely stunning and the entire day was pretty emotional. Being a Tallahassee wedding photographer means I get to visit a lot of different venues, Bradley’s Pond has a beautiful backdrop for weddings. The Malloy’s day was pretty overcast, it even rained a few times. I’m so proud of Morgan for handling it like she did, she stayed focus on the fact that rain or not, she was getting married. Despite the weather, the day was beautiful. The rain stopped just in time for the ceremony seats to be wiped down and the ceremony still started on time.
Mostly everything about the Malloy’s wedding day was emotional. The tears started coming when Morgan’s mom, Lisa, surprised her with her flowers. Lisa had a piece of her own wedding dress cut off and wrapped around Morgan’s flowers. It was gorgeous and so sweet! Then Morgan and Austin saw each other for the first time. I don’t push first looks on my couples, it’s a personal choice. Morgan decided that she didn’t want the first time that she saw Austin to be in front of everyone because she knew it would be emotional. Boy was it! AustinĀ immediately broke into a smile and started shedding tears. My heart smiles just thinking about it! I absolutely adore when grooms are so excited/emotional/surprised when they see their soon-to-be wife. After we dried up Morgan’s tears, we let her dad, Rusty, see her for the first time and they started flowing again! Rusty was so sweet when he saw Morgan. It was truly a family moment, Lisa and Hope were standing by watching and Rusty pulled them both over for a hug. You could see the love in Lisa and Rusty’s eye’s as they prepared to give away their daughter.
Fast forward to the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd! We all managed to make it through the ceremony, but the reception is what really got the tears coming. Austin surprised his mom, Vickie, with their first dance song, “You are my Sunshine”. Austin picked a version of the song that had a long instrumental at the beginnig, so no one knew what it was until the singing started. When the singing started both Vickie and Austin burst into tears. It was one of the sweetest things I have seen at a wedding. Vickie used to sing “You are my Sunshine” to Austin when he was little, so it was an intimate song for them.
Morgan and Austin, your day was absolutely perfect. I am so happy for you both and am honored to give you these memories to cherish for the rest of your lives. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to spend the day with you!
