Beautiful scenery for a western couple session taken in Gainesville, Florida. The canopy trees are brilliant.

After this session I could be a western horse photographer every day! Katrina and Robert were absolutely PERFECT together. Robert could not keep his eyes off of Katrina, but who could blame him, she is stunning! Their ranch near Gainesville, Fl had the most gorgeous lighting for the entire afternoon and their two horses posed perfectly for their photoshoot. Their session was several weeks ago and I still cannot pick out a favorite which is why there’s so many photos here!

Katrina put together the most perfect outfits for their session and Robert didn’t even mind all of the outfit changes. We captured a little bit of everything, some intimate photos, some ranchy photos, some fun photos, it was all perfect! Katrina even said she feels like they finally have the wedding photos they never had now. One of her dresses is a former Miss Rodeo USA dress and looked like a western wedding dress, so we took advantage of it!

Being a western horse photographer is great because I get to meet so many wonderful people. Katrina and Robert are no exception! Robert and I got to talking about his woodwork and let’s just say… he’s amazing! The things he can do with wood, horseshoes, and basically anything, is ah-mazing. He’s incredibly creative and crafty and I can’t wait until the day he starts offering his work to the public. Katrina is not only an incredibly sweet person, but helps her family run Pepe Dogs, a dog training facility in Gainesville, FL.

Thank you, Katrina and Robert, for letting me be your western horse photographer and being so willing to do whatever I asked (including teaching their horse to ride double before the session). We truly captured some beautiful horse and rider portraits and I’m so honored to be able to share them!
