Professional Photo Shoot with Horse Pictures

I love having a professional photo shoot with horse pictures and Sara from @saddlesnsass (on Instagram) was the perfect model. Not only is Sara incredibly photogenic, so is her lesson pony, Dash! Sara picked the perfect outfits for our session, and quite possibly made me obsessed with Romfh breeches. Unfortunately, we didn’t get much sun for our session, but that create the perfect moody horse pictures. I’m convinced that one day the Florida sun will reappear and give me beautiful lighting for my horse photography sessions again!

I met Sara on Instagram, if you’re not following her account, check her out! On Sara’s Instagram account you will find clothing styles, along with her riding journey. Sara posts about her lessons, what she’s struggling with and what is going well. Her account is an open and honest safe space for equestrians to share their journeys together–no judgement! She is only a hop and a skip away from me in Jacksonville, Florida. She’s been riding Dash in dressage lessons at a local barn. Though she’s only been riding for a short time, she has already started making a name for herself in the equestrian world! Not to mention she has an impeccable sense of style.

I had a great time with Sara and Dash. Dash is one of the cutest ponies! I love being a horse photographer in Florida because I get to meet so many amazing (and adorable!) ponies. No one can resist a cute pony with a fabulous mane (maybe it’s neighbeline?). Dash even got to chow down on a few apples during our session because he was being such a good boy! These two were truly great to be around and I can’t wait to photograph Sara in the future!
