Northwest Florida Horse Photographer

Northwest Florida horse photographer and girl with two horses infront of brick home.

I am so glad Carly found me while searching for a Northwest Florida horse photographer. Her session with her two geldings created some of my favorite equestrian photos. Lab and Twister are quite the gentlemen. I joked with Carly that she tried to find a younger version of Twister because they look so similar in coloring! Though they look alike, they actually have very different personalities. Twister is the older of the two, but definitely the more sensitive and (as Carly would say) “special” one. Lab on the other hand has only been off the track for a few years, but has proved himself to be both athletic and trainable. Carly has owned Twister for almost a decade, and he is definitely her heart horse. However, I think Lab is starting to come in as a very close second! I enjoyed watching the different bonds she has with each of them.

When Carly and I started talking about her session, she had a pretty clear goal for it. She was unsure about outfits, but she did know which wall were decorating in her home. Her two special boys ended up with the prime location in a home for artwork: directly over the main couch! Through some discussion we ended up deciding that a panoramic of both horses would be the perfect piece for that location. Carly only gets to see her horses a few days a week since they live far from her urban home. Now, she gets to see them every day in her own living room. I think wall art for equestrians is perfect. We all love being around our horses, but we don’t always get to enjoy them every day. Wall art is the perfect way to bring your horse home with you… even if you live in the city!
