Makenzie and Comet have been in others lives for as long as Makenzie can remember. As an equestrian having photography of their bond in Alabama was important to Makenzie. Comet has always been owned by her family and when she had the opportunity to make him “hers”, she jumped on it. Throughout the years Comet has been with her through many life changes including getting married and having children. He has been her constant source of companionship. He is the type to be there when you need him and has spent some time out in the field, but always happy when Makenzie came back to spend time with him. Though he is in his older years now, their relationship is still just as strong. Their bond was evident while photographing them, Makenzie knew Comet’s every move before he made it. She knew exactly what to expect when we started taking photos, and she enjoyed every cuddle he gave her during their photoshoot. The evening was beautiful and we had a fantastic golden sunset to match Comet’s warm coat.
