Senior Portraits at Pebble Hill Plantation
Yanet
Yanet chose to have her high school senior portraits taken at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville, Georgia. We had the perfect afternoon, minus a short, heavy rain storm. When Yanet arrived in Thomasville it was a gorgeous sprint day. However, during her first outfit change the bottom fell out of the sky! Luckily, Yanet was right beside her car so was able to hop in without ruining her hair and makeup. On the other hand, I got soaking wet! The storm passed as quickly as it started and we were able to finish Yanet’s senior portraits with beautiful lighting, including a gorgeous golden hour. We spent the afternoon chasing the sun (literally). Yanet was cheerful the entire day, even despite the torrential downpour we had. Like they say, you cannot have a sunshine without a little rain!
I always love getting to know my seniors leading up to, and during their sessions. Yanet is from Madison, a very small town in North Florida. She plays tennis and her family is very important to her. When I first met Yanet, she was anxiously awaiting an acceptance from the University of Florida. When we got to her session, Yanet told me the good news that she was accepted to UF (Go Gators!). So, we spent the afternoon celebrating the good news and having a blast. She chose a gorgeous senior album to display her photos. Albums are my favorite because it is hard to put thirty photos on the wall, but an album tells a story each time you flip through it. Now, she will have this album to show her kids ten years from now and tell them about her time in high school.
I am now booking for the class of 2023. If you want to get on my schedule, send me an email at shellywilliamsphotography@gmail.com.
