Lindsey
Lafayette Senior – 2018
Where to start with Lindsey… well, we took photos in the rain. Or at least some of them. Lindsey was a total trooper about it, she actually soaked it in (no pun intended) and even through on her rainboots for a silly photo. I’m a big fan of girls who go with the flow and say “whatever happens, happens”. We had already rescheduled Lindsey’s portraits once due to rain, and since she is a 2018 senior, we were not going to postpone it again. It’s a good thing we didn’t because after the first two outfits we had gorgeous weather!
Lindsey had her hair and makeup done at 11am. We didn’t start taking photos until 4:30, but that was the only appointment we could get on short notice. Manning Vaughn always does a wonderful job, so she still looked stunning for her portraits that afternoon. We started at a place along the river which was flooded. Another thing Lindsey didn’t freak out over. We strolled downtown Mayo which I don’t do very often and found some super cool buildings, including the firehouse in the first photo. Finally, we ended at the football stadium to capture some belated cap and gown portraits with the mural.
I have had the honor of photographing Lindsey twice during her senior year. The first for prom, and now for her senior photos. This girl is a stunner, quite simply put. Once that sass kicked in, it was all uphill from there and boy did Lindsey bring it! Lindsey is so chill and collected, nothing phased her although from the outside a lot went wrong (the weather twice, the location, the early makeup, forgetting her shoes). I know this girl is going to go far with this mentality. She has already planned her move to Lake City, FL and has signed herself up for the EMT program. Happy belated graduation, Lindsey, you’re going to rock life!
