A day these two will surely remember for their lifetime. Bailiegh and Cody have spent a long while waiting for their wedding day. I think we had the perfect day at Clark Plantation in Newberry, Florida. As usual in North Florida we were threatened with rain, but I think that made the day all the more special! We almost moved the ceremony up by 45 minutes to try to avoid the storm; when asked if Cody wanted to move up the ceremony, he responded “You go tell Bailiegh I will marry her RIGHT now if that’s what she wants!” Talk about couple goals!

I have actually had the pleasure of growing up with Cody and Bailiegh. Cody and I are long time childhood friends, I’m talking every weekend we were together riding four wheelers, playing hide and seek, swimming in the pool or at the river. Bailiegh and I spent weekdays together watching Melody baseball. I still have a photo of us on the field with my grandfather! I’ve been known to fight back emotions at weddings, but when I’m connected to the bride and groom… well that makes it even worse!

Cody got me a few times that day, first while reading his letter from Bailiegh–sidenote, she bought him a brick at the Gator walk, how cool is that?! Then, when he saw Bailiegh for the first time in her stunning Allure Bridal gown which she looked absolutely amazing in. Now if those two moments didn’t get me, then I definitely felt the tears welling when Bailiegh and Cody prayed before the ceremony.

Their entire day was just perfect. I love the couples that get so lost in one another it’s as if nothing else matters. Their wedding was definitely one of those weddings! I’m so excited for their future together and cannot wait to see where life takes them. Thank you, Bailiegh and Cody, for trusting me to document the start of your lives together; I’m truly honored.
