Ashley is a Suwannee Senior who is one of those girls that you just love being around. She’s kind and is always joking. We joke that our relationship runs on Arise Coffee because we’ve conveniently met there several times while getting our daily dose of coffee. Her session was stunning, as usual with my Suwannee Seniors, we had a chance for rain, but Ashley was game to try to complete the session anyway. Thankfully, we had no rain, and the perfect amount of clouds to create a subtle moodiness to her session. We laughed probably the entire day and had the best time strolling downtown Madison, then ended up in a random field (with permission, of course!). By the end of the afternoon Ashley was modeling like a professional… seriously! We had just finished up, when we started walking back to the car along this dirt path. I turned around to tell Ashley “Just one more!” right as she said “I think we should do one more here,”. Great minds think alike!

Ashley competes in weightlifting, so she wanted to include some of her medals in her portraits along with her letterman jacket. As a Suwannee senior she competes in weightlifting and does dancing dolls. She has been dancing since she was a young child, so her mom had to include her ballet shoes in the session. I think it was the perfect touch! I’m always not so secretly obsessed with Ashley’s eyes, one is blue and the other is green due to a surgery she had as a young child. I think it’s the most beautiful thing! It’s so unique and different, her eyes are absolutely captivating.

Ashley, it was a joy to photograph your senior year, you are truly one of a kind!
