Keira is the last to wrap up my beach senior photography for the class of 2019. I cannot believe that they have already reached the point of graduation! It feels like just yesterday that we started photographing their years graduation class, now I’m already meeting next year’s seniors. Keira is a Columbia High senior and her and her mom spend a lot of time in St. Augustine, Florida, so it was no surprise that she wanted to do her senior pictures there. Between old downtown St. Augustine and the beach, there are SO many photo opportunities in the area. I find new places each and every time I visit St. Augustine. We spent a few minutes in downtown, just strolling around the courtyard and walking the streets, then we finished at the beach.

Keira has the biggest personality, she’s confident in front of the camera and is outgoing enough to try anything. She didn’t even blink twice when I asked her to lay close to the shoreline, where she knew the odds of her getting wet were pretty high… and she definitely did get wet! That day on the beach was incredibly windy, one of the most windy I think I have had while photographing there. Despite getting covered in sand, water, and eating her own hair more than once thanks to the wind, Keira totally rocked her senior portrait session. I love what we created together and, as usual, am glad that we made the trip down to St. Augustine to photograph her senior year. St. Augustine is just one of those places that will never get old! Keira, thank you for choosing me to be your senior photographer. I had a wonderful time getting to know you and photographing you. I’m excited to see what your future brings!
