I moved to Birmingham, Alabama just a few weeks ago. Re-establishing my business as a horse photographer near Birmingham, Alabama is going to be quite the challenge. However, I have loved getting to meet some of the other local equestrians in the area and getting them in front of my camera! While living in Birmingham I intend on serving the state of Alabama as a whole, as well as lower Tennessee and western and north Georgia. If you are an equestrian in any of these areas, I would love to meet you! I specialize in horse and rider portraits, equine fine art photography, and equestrian business branding. In addition to my photography business, I own a horse that I hope to compete on the local circuit with. I am excited to develop brand recognition in this area and meet fellow equestrians. Emma and her gelding, G Star, are the first duo that I have had the pleasure of photographing as a horse photographer near Birmingham, Alabama. They really set the standard high! This horse and rider couple are absolutely stunning, and are at a gorgeous facility that compliments them. This hunter jumper equestrian facility is located just outside of Birmingham. Emma is no stranger to the camera and has even spent time modeling. She must have given G a few tips because he was quite the star too! I really had the best afternoon photographing them. Emma’s confidence in front of the camera was inspiring to me creatively and I love the photos that we captured together. Though the rain almost scared us off, we ended the evening with a gorgeous golden hour. I even spotted a couple of small “mountains” in the background for some of the photos.
