Today, I’m thrilled to share with you a senior photoshoot that took place at the breathtaking Alfred Maclay Gardens in Tallahassee. As a Tallahassee senior photographer, every session brings its own unique charm. Nestled in the heart of Tallahassee, Alfred Maclay Gardens offers a picturesque backdrop with its lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and serene ambiance. It’s the perfect setting to capture those precious moments of transition and growth as seniors, like Leah, prepare to embark on their next chapter.

Leah, a shy senior who challenged me to break her out of her shell, wanted her senior portraits to reflect her love for nature. From the moment we began planning her session, I knew Alfred Maclay Gardens would be the ideal location to give multiple options for beautiful scenery. On the day of the shoot, the weather was sporadic. Though the chance of rain was small, it ended up raining right until we started taking photos. Once I got Leah to open up, she was pretty much game for anything. Including climbing the gorgeous Oak by the lake at the Gardens. These photos ended up being my absolute favorites as they show off Leah’s love for nature and adventure.
