Some sessions are about more than photos—they’re about honoring the bond between a rider and the horse that helped shape who they are. That’s exactly what this session was for Margo, a Class of 2026 senior, and her sweet dressage gelding, Fini.

We started the afternoon at Hands and Hearts for Horses, a therapeutic riding center in Thomasville, GA, where Fini now lives. After years of riding him in dressage, Margo made the incredible decision to donate Fini to help others. He now serves as a therapy horse, continuing to change lives—just as he changed hers.

After spending time capturing their connection at Hands and Hearts, we made a quick stop in downtown Thomasville for a fun, modern twist to her senior portraits. We wrapped up at the Thomasville Rose Garden, where soft golden light and blooming flowers gave us the perfect finishing touch.

Being able to photograph Margo with Fini one last time in this season of change was such a privilege. These portraits are more than memories—they’re a reflection of years of partnership, trust, and growth.
