Jacob and Molli Strickland
This was my first Quail Branch Wedding of my own as the main photographer and as usual, Quail Branch Lodge did not disappoint! We had an absolutely perfect day for Jacob and Molli to “tie the knot”. The location, scenery, people, light, all the things, were all perfect! I’ve known Jacob and Molli for several years, we all went to high school together. They have the sweetest love story since they are high school sweethearts. Jacob clearly has eyes for only Molli, the way he looks at her is so beautiful. During their first look Jacob couldn’t help but smile ear to ear… through tears. That says something, when you’re so happy that you can’t help but shed a few tears, especially coming from the men! Molli was STUNNING! Seriously, her dress was gorgeous and the style fit her perfectly. Molli is beautiful on any day, but she really outdid herself on her wedding day, as it should be!
From the emotional getting ready, the laughter during the ceremony, and the killer dance moves that were released during the reception, their wedding was a blast. Not just for their guests, but for me as a photographer too! I couldn’t stop smiling with them the entire day. Their day was filled of lots of fun, but it was also really emotional at times. Jacob’s sister, Kristen, gave the most heartfelt speech during the reception. Throughout the years her and Molli have grown close, so not only was she the groom’s sister, but she was the maid of honor as well. Kristen’s speech told of childhood stories and mentioned their late father, it was enough to even make this Florida wedding photographer tear up!
Molli and Jacob, thank you for trusting me with your wedding memories. I’m truly honored to have gotten to be a part of something so special and I can’t wait to watch your marriage grow.
