Horse Photography on the Beach in Florida

I love when I get an opportunity to do horse photography on the beach in Florida! Taylor wanted to use her horse for engagement photos, but she lives in Ohio. Since it would be impossible to get her horse to Florida just for a photo session, we talked about finding a horse to rent. I am so happy that Taylor was able to find Biscuit! Biscuit was the perfect horse for this engagement session. You can tell that Taylor is a real horse person by the way she interacted with Biscuit. Jake was all for it because it was what Taylor wanted. He said he would do “Whatever made Taylor happy,” Doesn’t that just make your heart smile? They are the cutest couple together, and I cannot wait for their wedding next month. I am glad that they were able to make it to Florida last fall so we could meet before their wedding.

Since Taylor and Jake were only in Florida for a limited amount of time, we did not have many options for their engagement session. Taylor went through the trouble of renting Biscuit so she could have horse photography on the beach in Florida. Between their limited stay and renting Biscuit, we just could not move their session date. The session started with beautiful sun shining off the tall grass. Unfortunately, when Biscuit arrived it started to rain. Taylor was a trooper, through her hair in a ponytail and continued to model. Despite the poor weather, I love the photos we created together! I am determined that Taylor and Jake’s wedding day is going to be the most beautiful day ever. They deserve it after bearing the rain during their engagement session!
