I have used Shelly Williams Photography twice and am always amazed and in awe by her incredible work. Not only is she talented but has an incredible eye on capturing the best pictures possible. The first time I used her in 2021, I unexpectedly lost my beloved horse a month after our photo session and was so glad I was able to have her capture one last memory with my horse before she passed. Shelly was incredible to work with! She made the entire process so easy and fun, and I fell in love with every single picture that she took. I am beyond impressed by my entire experience with Shelly. I live in Boston but have my 19 year old mare and her two fillies (ages 3 and 3 months) in Ocala, FL. I was looking for someone to do a photoshoot of me, my husband, our three horses and our pup on the ONE day that we were going to be in town. Shelly was able to accommodate my demanding schedule and made me feel at ease leading up to the shoot, expertly fielding questions about outfits, timing etc. Shelly was patient with me when last minute my husband became ill and could not attend leaving me to a very hectic day of travel and preparation solo. I had big dreams of a “three generation shot”. As you can imagine photographing a wild filly, a curious 3 year old, their feisty helicopter mom and their discombobulated and VERY stressed handler was no easy feat. Shelly was somehow able to turn moments of complete chaos into lovely photographs that I will truly cherish forever. She was very helpful to me throughout the photograph review, selection and ordering process and continues to check in. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I highly recommend Shelly. I can’t wait to use her again- this time attempting to add in my husband, pup and gelding!
