Sometimes I get to change things up a little which is great for any creative mind. Normally, as you know, I specialize in seniors, weddings, families, and equines (just about everything besides babies!), but this time I got to photograph a styled bridal session. If you can imagine me literally jumping for joy, I was. Ask the models, they saw it… am I embarrassed? Maybe a little, but I seriously had so much fun.

You guys know me, I can fan-girl all day over anything wedding related. Wedding gown? Dreamy. Wedding ring? Sign me up. Florals? I’m ready to smell the roses. So, I was in an actual heaven at Studio One surrounded by beautiful, creative people. The models were new to me, I’ve never worked with a professional model before, but Ashley, Delaney, and Chloe were wonderful, and beautiful thanks to Adela! Working with models was definitely new for me, I had no idea what was going to happen going in. I’m used to posing people, telling them to look this way, or place their hand here, the models did all of that for me. To be honest, I was a little shocked. Every time I clicked my shutter, they heard it, and would do a different pose, or alter their pose just a little for the next frame. It made my job incredibly easy, and fun!

As if it couldn’t be perfect enough, we had beautiful flower arrangements from Iris! Not pictured is Erik’s beautiful set-up created by Iris, I’ll have to update this blog post with a link to his gallery once it arrives. In short, everything was beautiful from start to finish. It was a long day of standing, but most wedding days are! Now, to touch on the beautiful dresses created by Yong Lin, they were stunning! I’m honored to have been chosen to not only photograph them, but to also be one of the first to see them. Each dress is so detailed, so unique, and stylish. Yong has a dress for every bride from the elegant bride, to the fun bride, he has options for everyone.

I hope you all enjoy these photos, and check out the other people who made this shoot so great. It could not have been done without ever creative person who helped out that day. Everyone had wonderful personalities, we jammed out to music, we laughed, and we had a great time together.
