Senior Boy and His Hunting Gear
Jessie
I had such a great time taking photos of this senior boy and his hunting gear! Jessie was a pleasure to be around. Sometimes senior boys really dread being at their session, their momma probably pulled their ear to get them there! Jessie was different, he was willing to do anything I asked of him and was content the entire afternoon. Not to mention he is a total gentleman! Yes ma’am, no ma’am the whole nine-yards. Even though it was really chilly the day of Jessie’s session, he still had no issues smiling for me and I don’t think he complained at all.
I told Jessie to bring a few things that he wanted photos with. As with most boys, his truck was one of them, and his gun was the other. I always tell the mommas, we have to compromise. The boys get to bring a few things that make them happy, and the momma gets to pick out at least one outfit and make it what SHE wants it to be. Of course, that meant that Jessie would have to take a photo without his hat. To my surprise, he didn’t mind. Jessie REALLY surprised me after we got the photos his mom wanted! He took his waders from the back of the truck and this senior boy and his hunting gear walked right into the pond! Unfortunately, I didn’t bring my boots, so my feet got a little wet. It was worth it to create these totally unique senior portraits for Jessie!
I have enjoyed getting to know Jessie and his family over the past few years. I actually photographed his sister, Brooklynn, a few years ago at this same property. Thank you for choosing me to capture your memories, Jessie!
