Rivers Wedding

Being the Rivers’ Clark Plantation wedding photographer was amazing! Their day was stunning, and all of the little details that they had planned blew me away. Leslie had everything perfectly planned for their day. Her dress from Sweet Elegance fit her and her personality perfectly. Leslie’s wedding details complimented the day well, from her beautifully beaded purse, to the hand crafted signs that she made herself. It seemed like every time our eyes would dry, something else super emotional would happen! There were so many sentimental moments, especially the gifts that Leslie chose for her parents. The prayer that Leslie chose to have with her bridesmaids, mom, and grandmother had all of us in tears… followed by huge laughter thanks to the maid of honor! I think the entire wedding day was like that- tears followed by laughter.

It is always an honor for me to be the wedding photographer of a day so special. The Rivers’ wedding in particular was so easy for me to document, everywhere I turned another moment was happening. I’ve known Leslie since high school, and met Michael shortly after they started dating. These two have the best relationship. Michael knows exactly what to say to make Leslie laugh, and Leslie knows how to keep Michael in line! Seeing Michael look at Leslie when her dad walked her down the aisle was incredibly special.

We ended Leslie and Michael’s day with dancing, laughter, and alas… one more emotional moment. The DJ was asked to play Leslie’s grandparents (who have been together for 40+ years) song. When the song played, everyone stopped to watch them dance. When I say there were many emotional moments on during the Rivers’ wedding, I truly mean it!
