Hippie Theme

The girls on my Senior Model Team this year are so much fun! This is the first year that I have taken juniors and seniors to be a part of the team and I am glad I did, they are having a blast together! These photos are from our second meetup of the year, but first styled session. The girls decided that they wanted to do a hippie theme, so we all rode out to the Spirit of the Suwannee for an afternoon. I absolutely loved all of the outfits that the girls picked, and I think they had fun with it. I have always said that it is hilarious that styles come back around, like bell bottom jeans! It turns out most of the girls conveniently had a pair in their closet. Wearing “hippie” clothes was not a problem for any of them.

We almost decided on rescheduling this photoshoot because the weather did not look like it was going to allow us to shoot. However, the girls on the Senior Model Team decided to go ahead anyway… and I am glad we did! The sun was shining beautifully in the main field at the Spirit of the Suwannee where they hold countless festivals a year. The girls had a blast hanging out together and team bonding. We turned up some music, and just enjoyed the afternoon together! I even convinced them all to dance in the field like true hippies. One of my favorite things about the Senior Model Team is the friendships that are either created, or strengthened because of the team. I love giving the girls a fun, safe space for them to hangout. I am so excited for our other sessions this year with this group of girls, I know that we are going to have so much fun together!
