Heather & Hanson | Maternity Session with Horses in Alabama

One of my favorite things about being an equine photographer is getting to document more than just the horses—we get to capture milestones, memories, and the lives that are shaped around the barn.

Heather & Hanson first hired me to photograph their beautiful weanlings in fine art style, and this time, they invited me back for something even more special: their maternity session.

Set against the peaceful Alabama countryside, their session included not only the parents-to-be, but also their beloved horses—and one very special pony wearing a children’s saddle. A quiet nod to the little cowgirl on the way. Their daughter, Bexley, has officially arrived, and something tells me she’ll be riding before she’s walking.

As a photographer, repeat clients mean everything. It’s such an honor to be invited back to tell the next part of the story—especially when it’s one as heartfelt and horse-filled as this.
