Andrea and Pat

Meet Andrea and Pat! Their wedding is scheduled for fall 2019 and I’m so excited! These two were so much fun to be around. Though they’re from Gainesville engagement photos we decided to take their engagement photos on a nice spot in Jacksonville that I found a few months back. This location is quickly turning into a favorite. I’ve had awesome light 2/2 times, the only down fall is the no-see-ums! Poor Pat was trying his hardest to bear through the remaining part of the session, but we were all getting eaten alive. Andrea has wanted to photograph their engagement session here since I first posted about it at the beginning of the summer. I’m so glad that she was able to talk Pat into making the drive because these photos are just stunning! I mean, have you seen her dress?! We even had a little bit of fun and made Pat catch some crabs for us. I still cannot believe how many crabs there are walking along this marsh.

Funny story, I met Andrea several years ago while we were both attending UF. We carpooled to the first try outs for the Equestrian team. I still remember climbing into her huge truck and thinking “This girl drives this truck ALL of the time?!”. It must have been several months after that, maybe even a year later, when Andrea asked me to take photos of her and Pat. They’ve been dating several years now. Ya’ll have to understand that I wasn’t the best photographer three years ago, yet Andrea hired me anyways and has wanted me to photograph her wedding ever since. She contacted me shortly after they were engaged (about time, Pat!) and we got everything set up for me to photograph their wedding. I cannot wait for their wedding next fall. These two are perfect for each other and I just know their day is going to be gorgeous!
