Some photo sessions stop you in your tracks—not just because of how beautiful they are, but because of how deeply they reflect a life full of love, loyalty, and purpose. Beth’s session was exactly that.
We began with an unforgettable group shot: three horses and three Dalmatian dogs, all standing proudly like they knew they belonged in a magazine. As a horse and dog photographer, I can tell you—getting that many four-legged friends to shine in one frame is no small feat! But thanks to the trust and connection Beth has with each one, the moment came together effortlessly.
After the group portraits, we focused on Beth’s heart horses—each with their own story. Diesel, her longtime partner, is a stunning example of what patience and dedication can create. Beth has developed him into a well-rounded ranch and western dressage horse, and their connection is undeniable. He’s soft-eyed, responsive, and clearly proud of the job he’s learned to do.
Then there’s Snickers, her older mare who’s now happily retired. Beth has loved her for over a decade, and photographing them together was such a privilege. There was a softness to their moments—quiet touches, shared space, and the kind of deep bond that only comes from years of showing up for each other.
