Morgan’s aunt was searching for someone to take Jacksonville equine photos of her and her gelding, Takota. I am so glad that she came across me because I had so much fun with this pair! Takota is a stunning American Paint Horse gelding. He has one blue and one brown eye, and I love his mapping on his paint spots. I am sure that he is hard to keep clean because of all of his white, but he looked pristine for his photo session. Morgan and Takota have a growing bond together. It was great to see them interacting and learning about how far they have already come. I have been following Morgan, and they have grown even more since our photo session together! That is when you know you have a good team, when both the horse and rider are improving and growing closer to each other.

We photographed Morgan and Takota at their home barn, Peak Performance Horses. Takota was freshly clipped, and the day of our session was the only cool day of the week. He was feeling a little fresh, but we could not blame him! We photographed him in the barn aisle to start with for him to warm up. His black background photos are stunning, I think he just pops off of them! Together we designed an artwork piece for over Morgan’s bed. She went with two large metals and they are absolutely stunning. We spent the rest of the afternoon photographing Morgan and Takota together. The sunset was gorgeous and made for a great scenery at the barn. We took so many great photos! I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to meet Morgan and Takota. I cannot wait to see where their journey goes!
