Senior Pictures in Thomasville, Georgia

When Katie Jo told me she wanted to take her senior pictures in Thomasville, Georgia, I was so excited! I recently moved to Thomasville, and have had my eye on several places for photos. However, when Katie Jo told me she was also going to bring her Golden Doodle, Nash, I was even more excited! Dogs are one of my favorite animals, and I have a Golden Doodle myself. I always encourage my seniors to bring things/animals that are important to them. Including things you love, whether that be an animal, or sentimental pieces of clothing, adds another level to your photos. We can create beautiful photos anywhere, but having photos that create emotion will become invaluable over time. Nash was the perfect addition to Katie Jo’s senior pictures! I think he also enjoyed strolling downtown Thomasville with us too.

Katie Jo is no stranger to my camera. I have photographed her several times with my Senior Model Team, and photographed her brother, Gabe, last year for his senior portraits. Her family is so sweet and always makes a day out of this important milestone for their kids. It is bitter sweet to see Katie Jo all grown up and preparing for her next step in life. She is a shopper, so we made sure to have some shops in the background of her photos. Downtown Thomasville was the perfect location for her. We finished the afternoon at another of my favorite spots since moving here, the Rose Garden. The Rose Garden has fantastic lighting in the evenings and I often take my dog for walks there. The sunset did not disappoint for Katie Jo’s senior pictures in Thomasville, Georgia. There was a gorgeous golden hour (that we waited patiently for), then Katie Jo and her family ended their day at one of my favorite restaurants in town, Jonah’s Fish & Grits!

I am honored to have been part of Katie Jo’s junior and senior year. Creating these memories for her have been some of my favorite moments!
