Erika, Popsicle, and Coco

When I started my business as a western horse photographer in Alabama, I knew I needed to make a few connections. Erika and her horses were the perfect fit. She is a young rider whose parents are really encouraging and supportive towards her riding. At the time of our session Erika had her heart horse, Popsicle, and had recently sold her barrel horse, Coco. We took photos with both of them but focused on Popsicle. The three of them were fantastic for photos! Erika is the sweetest, and both horses were well mannered and photogenic. I absolutely loved capturing Erika’s bond with her horses as a western horse photographer in Alabama. Recently Erika purchased her step-up barrel horse, and I cannot wait to see where the two of them go together.

These photographs were taken at TR Equine Rehab and Spa in Columbiana, AL. After our equine photo session, I had a chance to speak with the owner of the farm. Tammy has such a huge heart for what she does for the horses. It was truly a joy to speak with her about her philosophy on treating horses, and hearing some of the success stories she has had. Not to mention, the facility is really fantastic. It is well kept and run with nice paddocks and runs, clean, cool, and tidy. They have a full spa for rehabbing horses including a hot walker, EquiVibe, MagnaWave, and a Nautilus Spa. Availability is extremely limited so the horses only receive the best care.
